Welcome to Glitter Gel Pen Book Club — a Sydney meet-up for like-minded girlies who want to romanticise their lives, read sugary novels, and yap about them over a glass (or two) of natty wine. We’re here for the “frivolous” feel-good fiction and a space to unapologetically enjoy and discuss books beyond 19th-century literary classics.

So if you’re in your twenties or thirties, craving a bit of escapism and love a rom-com with your rosé in an aesthetic setting, welcome to your new favourite cal invite. Coming solo? Perfect. Most of our members do, and it’s how the best friendships start.

Event Details

What: For one night only, we’re turning Buddy’s into a cosy living room. Settle in amongst the fairy lights with fellow fans for a special GGP screening of The Summer I Turned Pretty finale, on the big screen, the night it drops.

When: Wednesday, 17th September. Arrive from 6:30 pm for a 7 pm screening.
Where: Upstairs at Buddy’s, Newtown

Your Ticket Includes:

• Watch the finale episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty on a big screen with like-minded fans.

• 1 x glass of wine on arrival (or non-alcoholic alternative) + 2 tacos (veggie + GF options available)

• Post-episode group debrief (because we’ll obviously need to unpack everything)

• A little extra sparkle: GGP accessories for your note-scribbling, plus ongoing access to our Glitter Gel Pen community so the chat can continue well after the event!
