Every Thursday night, Buddy's in Newtown turns into the ultimate hub for live, original music + the famous meatball subs!

Othrship is the creative vessel for multi-instrumentalist Henry Manuell, a project dedicated to transcending musical boundaries. Fusing the intricate improvisation of jazz with the potent hooks of rock and a wash of psychedelic texture, Othrship forges a sound that is both timeless and contemporary.

Drawing clear inspiration from the chameleonic genius of David Bowie, the layered production of Tame Impala, and the raw artistry of Silverchair, the project is a deliberate and captivating escape from the conventional.

This ethos extends into a rich, conceptual universe. In 2023, Othrship launched its narrative arc with a trilogy of interconnected music videos. The story follows an alien species who, after a generations-long voyage, find themselves on Earth. No longer mere explorers, they become cosmic ambassadors, aiming to unite humanity through the universal language of their music and a message of interstellar unity.
