Every Thursday night, Buddy's in Newtown turns into the ultimate hub for live, original music

Pastel is a 20-year-old indie dream pop singer-songwriter from Sydney, who has drawn inspiration from artists such as Faye Webster, Olivia Rodrigo, and Phoebe Bridgers. Carving out her own distinct sound, she is known for her hypnotic and ethereal vocals heard in her debut EP ‘Protecting My Peace’ she released late 2024.

Her recent releases ‘Before I Met You’ and 'Right Where You Want Me' explore the importance of self love and finding joy in independence and the little things. Self-producing her own tracks, Pastel’s music serves as a melodic remedy that speaks to the experiences of love, heartbreak, independence and self-discovery.

Pastel's upcoming single 'Barely 20' serves as a reminder that it's ok to make mistakes and not have it all together.
