Every Thursday night, Buddy's in Newtown turns into the ultimate hub for live, original music

LUBBY is the artist project of 20 year-old, queer, Sydney singer/songwriter Lucy Klein. Named after her childhood teddy bear, who’s been a part of her life since she was born, LUBBY (the project) exists as a way to reflect on Lucy’s life and experiences from a third-person’s perspective. 
 
The songs she’s written are a collection of deeply personal memories that explore her experience entering adulthood. Themes of relationships, love, loss, anxiety and musings on her place in the world are common, and you can tell she grew up with a psychologist in the family. 
 
With national support of her singles including Spotify and Apple Music playlisting as well as support  from triple J unearthed, LUBBY has now released her EP ‘Everyone’s Getting That Fever’ and is ready to play her debut headline show at Buddy’s bar.
