Every Thursday night, Buddy's in Newtown turns into the ultimate hub for live, original music + the famous meatball subs!

New Calyptus bring a fresh sound to the Wollongong music scene, gathering momentum with their trailblazing fusion of indie rock and keyboard pop, with witty lyrics, catchy melodies and thumping grooves, a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

Live, New Calyptus brings an infectious enthusiasm and sense of fun. With all six band members playing off each other and interacting with the crowd, it is hard not to get drawn into the world of each song.

Each set is crafted to bring out dancey highs, but also to create moments of emotional intensity and reflection: sharing a message of optimism and openness. As a band, we thrive off the chance to bring new people into the world of our music, and this shows, with an increasing number of regular fans coming to gigs.
