Friday night, Buddy's in Newtown turns into the ultimate hub for live, original music

Imagine Beastie Boys had a baby with Tame Impala and then that baby somehow made friends with the Smashing Pumpkins - that’s what the collaborative efforts of Sydney electro funk outfit Blokbstr and Marty Rotten feels like.

Nevermind is the lead single off of Blokbstr and Marty Rotten’s collab EP “Blok Rotten” and to celebrate we are throwing a party with friends at Buddy’s in Newtown. It’s the introduction to a 7 track, rollercoaster of an EP that derives influence from all ends of the music spectrum but with one main objective - to get them asses moving. 

Joining them are the party punk four piece Pizza Boys, ACDC reincarnate Tank and the sweet sounds of Luke Martin with an acoustic set.
