Friday night, Buddy's in Newtown turns into the ultimate hub for live, original music + the famous meatball subs!

It’s official: Honeydrip is back. 

On August 29th, they set foot on home ground in Newtown and welcome the city of Sydney to celebrate a momentous occasion and entertainment experience par excellence: the launch of their next studio single, ‘Next To You’, and the re-birth of their live band.

Buddy’s Bar will host a Friday night extravaganza for the ages, featuring the finest sounds in Soul, Funk and RnB this side of the equator in 2025. Expect poetry in motion - every lyrical turn of phrase and electrifying sonic tone on their forthcoming record, plus a suite of brand new songs never before performed or released - and a handful of their catalogue classics for good measure. 

Joining them on support duties for the evening will be Melita: a singer, songwriter, bandleader and all-round exceptional artist that brings her full band along, fresh off the back of an EP Release ‘Introvert in the Club’.
