Every Thursday night, Buddy's in Newtown turns into the ultimate hub for live, original music + the famous meatball subs!

RAGEFLOWER is the moniker of Sydney-based indie pop/rock artist Madeleine Powers, whose music transforms personal pain into something expansive and cathartic.
Her debut EP INFINITE HIGHS, END OF TIMES is a raw meditation on suffering and rebirth. “It’s about how the darkest times of your life can become the most sacred,” she says.
RAGEFLOWER has earned a growing following with playlisting on Spotify (New Music Friday AU/NZ, Hits Different, Glow, Fresh Finds AU, and more), Apple Music support, and national airplay from Triple j. She’s also received nods from Aussie music royalty Jenna McDougall and The Buoys. In August 2025, she’ll perform at BIGSOUND and launch her EP at Buddy’s in Newtown.
